My,my... but, faces have changed around here. Maybe some of you can inform me of what else has been changed.

Life has been full of ups and downs with moving and then not moving, waiting on the adoption approval from a different source now. (It's very complicated.)

Living out of boxes, then unpacking half of them as what's the point of rummaging through one everytime we need something. Then I was finding I was buying something new each time I needed it because the old one was packed in a box that I couldn't find. We are not completely moved back in yet either. Living in the mid-stream of this life is certainly not a preferred path. One aspect we have come to terms with is patience.

When I have a full day to devote to browsing I will try to comment on at least one of each of your works of art.

     Here we are only two more days till Christmas.  

    All the shopping is done, the wrapping is tied up in ribbons and bows, and I don't bake anymore so there'll be no fretting over indigestion, cholesterol, or weight gain.  The joys of the season abound don't they?  I do hope everyone else is in just as good shape and will enjoy the Holidays as much as Sela and I will.  

     My son, Greg,  baby daughter, Sela, and I are going over to the ma's for dinner. "No cooking either!"  How lucky can one person be? The men are on KP duty so, "No washing dishes!"  I really must have been a very good girl this year for all these awesome blessings.

    I am sending out Christmas Wishes to my Daughter JaDeLeaF, Leah, whom I will miss dearly along with my Grandson, Jaden, during the Holidays.

As for each and everyone here at DeviantArt I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and Season's Greetings.  You are a blessing because you are human.

Have you ever noticed that when you have left countless comments for numerous images for one or more artists you either get no thank you at all or a mere 'thanks'.  Now I don't mean to sound ungrateful.  After all I do go to some length to leave a comment on particular images. Grant you, many pieces of art or photography warrant or require longer comments than most as the work may be more complex than a simpler cleaner piece.

If it's beautiful what more can you say if that's all it is? And I'm not saying that being beautiful isn't enough. There are a million beautiful pictures out there.  But some of them really grab your eye and grab your attention.  The work is stunning and it draws your eyes all over the image over and over again like a magnet, and you find yourself hypnotized by form, colours or the simplist of line then by all means a detailed message is indeed required. The same goes if the image is slightly flawed but otherwise quite striking.  I enjoy reading what people like about my art or what could be different.  

If I had left one word I would deserve one word in return at the very least; at the cost of returned respect. But 'thanks' or otherwise nothing is unexceptable.  Where are people's manners?

What I'd like for Christmas is more respect for the people who leave gracious comments for these artists.  It just seems the spirit of human politeness and grace is lost and needs rediscovering.

Have been: & staying close to the with Sela the past week as we have both been down with croup and cold. Lots of ugly symptoms...just when you think you're feeling well eough to get up and join the outside world the head starts to spin and ache again. So it's plenty of tea and rest, books and telly. Sounds boring but I'm too ill to care.


                                                                                        

Hope to return soon to DA as I miss my Devious Artists.   I try to stop in once in a while but it's too much like work. Sorry my darlings...love you all and take care.
